The Integrated Pest Management in the Home Garden and Landscape video series was created to support an IPM in the home garden and landscape hands-on workshop designed for Virginia Master Gardener training. However, videos in the series may also be used as stand-alone training for MG pesticide safety and/or IPM training. This series focuses on plant pathogens and plant disease rather than insects mites, weeds or other pest problems. However, the pesticide information and concepts related to IPM overviewed in these videos can be applied to other pest problems.
After viewing this video viewers

factors in plant disease development

some knowledge of the multitude of ways that plant pathogens spread and survive

that proper timing of control tactics, such as a pesticide application, may be
